Art from the Road
Savannah, New York and Los Angeles
It’s been a busy close to this month, so writing took a backseat — here are some visuals from the road.
Savannah
SCAD Museum of Art: an astonishing scale of a hand-rendered tapestry by Eva Jospin.
New York
I joined my husband for the kickoff at Film Forum of the Billy Preston documentary, which he researched, co-wrote and co-produced and tucked in a visit to MOMA.

Los Angeles
I beat the blizzard out of New York to my final stop of the month for a board meeting of Creative Capital, a non-profit that provides both grants and career support to individual artists working across the artistic spectrum. It’s an organization I’m passionate about, and it felt good to reconvene with my fellow board members after stepping away for 18 months. Our nephew Greg joined me since my husband was promoting the film.

So much good art, love seeing the Wilfredo Lam especially, a few women artists are finally getting
their due!
I’m so glad to hear that! And so glad that you are returning soon. Let’s definitely make a plan in June.
