Thanks Isa, for your deeply inspiring quote and personal intentions. They are right on time. Two of your scarves bring light to my morning, one hangs in a sunny window and the other I wear often. Love and peace fierce woman ❤️‍🩹 Pam Morris '82 Shaughnessy

well. I rarely know what to say after I've read one (any one) of your writings because they are more powerful than I feel I have words for. Thank you again for sharing your soul with us. It helps us. Jeannie & Doc & Lola (our wee doggie that I swear has helped us get through so much in the past three years - we didn't rescue her - she truly rescued us.) I'm not quite sure about loving my enemies yet but I think my dog might help me - or bite them - either way okay with me.

Lola will help you and trust me I need to walk my own talk. xo

🙏💛✨ it wasn’t until my dad died after a long illness that my heart broke open for all humans (OK, maybe not a certain president elect) we share so much more in common than what divides us

Thank you for that vicarious romp in the fresh snow! And always for your wise words.

I’m reading a good book that you might enjoy called The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng.

'The Once and Future King' is one of my all time favorite books. I'm glad you have the snow and Daniel and Rose to share in its wonder. I find myself also missing the family and friends who helped shape the politics I have. You're one of these.

me too, me too. I have just been rereading a lot of "children's" classics in honor of Bai who read everything. You can call me anytime. I am not that far. xoxo

Loved the THWhite quote & was reminded of beauty as an antidote - a somatic & soul salve when we feel loss or pain. May we live in the light and shadows cast by beauty, and may it shelter us when the world turns dark. Lenny Cohen put it differently when he said "This world is full of conflicts, & full of things that cannot be reconciled. But there are moments when we can transcend .. embrace the whole mess .. and that's what I mean by 'Hallelujah’. "

A beautiful call to action. Show up with best intentions. Be authentic. Don't judge but don't give way your personals power to be an agent of change. Do something good each and every day, something for others. something they might never know - but that's your treasure to give. And love. Love like crazy. Love even when it hurts to the core.

And snow makes me happy. Snow is my most favorite blanket.

Love you with all my heart.

I’m going to need some Wendell Berry to get me through this winter. Love your writing. As you may know, when Hemingway was asked how to write, he said it is easy. Just sit in front of a typewriter until your fingers bleed. So it is.

I had forgotten that! Ah the days of manual typewriters. Thanks for the encouragement. I will keep tapping.
