Oh I just cry. And sob. I am so sad. It’s so tragic.

I loved when Bailey and all of you, came into the bookstore. I loved when I discovered it was her doing the magic trick for me… and I said, hey I know you..

Your writings are helping me too, Isa.

I love finding this Substack. You guided me to this…

I’m grateful.

My heart is so very broken too

Isa, I’m so very sorry for your terrible loss of your beloved and amazing daughter. I would say “unspeakable” loss, and yes, yes truly it is and yet here you are speaking and writing it. “Give sorrow words,” Shakespeare wrote. Grief has a mind of its own but inviting it into the conversation and making it a friend can help us get through. Thank you for sharing Bailey with us so vividly. You bless us with these memories and I grieve with you at her life cut short far too soon. -Sarah (Williams 87)

Your courage and eloquence is more than I could imagine. I’ve lost two beloved husbands but I don’t know the pain of losing a child. You’ve been a good student of everything that made Bai special. She would be so proud.
