We share Steve Earle! Any google of Isa Catto would reveal first and foremost that you love your family fiercely and beautifully; and curiosity wins out: which apple? I love your light and humor and humanity, Isa.
What a lovely list-feel honored that you shared it! Oh that we could each share these deeper, genuine and quirky parts of ourselves. Your words and insights are always a gift!!! Thank you!
I loved your list of the things about yourself that will always bypass AI. It inspired me to create my own list of the traits, quirks, and values that make me who I am but would never show up in a search result. Thank you for inspiring that bit of self-reflection.
And, man, it is a siren call… especially leading me away from how I really feel…
Thanks,as always, Isa for your conscious missives. I’ve already caught myself like 5 times today (maybe more!) going in to the addiction of sourcing the answers for my questions on the great white web. Hmmm.
I love your list - so well said. I was just with a couple new friends in a small town. A couple night of just chatting and not a phone in sight. It was lovely!
Thank you, my dear Louisa. We miss you and hope Montana was lovely. The giraffe, that's a good one, although they really do have to splay their legs to drink water.
I think that would be rather grand, and that way, Fiona, if she so desires, can plant me in her garden. How you be? We will be in California more, with any luck, and would love to see you in L.A.
If you ask questions, you learn something new… too many people keep their cell phones with them at all times 😡 remember what happened to Aspen schools when they banned cell phones, kids actually talked to one another… you’re so insightful! Xo
Does your Substack come up when you google who is Isa Catto? I feel it intrusive if I try. I also loved your list. I would like to come back as a fig tree. What a fun exercise for all of us to write a list like this.

All of this. Exactly.

Thank you, Deb. I started adding to mine, and it's kind of fun.
Beautiful, deep, hopeful, delightful. Thank you
Well, I thank you as always !
As always, a sincere, honest and insightful share - one that many can hear their own inner voice in. Thanks Isa
Your list has inspired me to write my own. Thank you!
I actually should be thanking those two gentlemen for the inspiration !

It's inevitable, but I am trying to moderate this as well.

Those are the connections that make us thrive, right?
Absolutely beautiful Isa. I’m reminding Jay to put his phone away at dinner lol.
We SO loved our visit with you guys.
I’d like to come back as a giraffe 😘

and you get to make a new list, whenever you want.
That's an excellent point. Thanks.
Oh Isa. I too want to be an apple tree in the next life!

I would love that reunion so much 🥰

Oh Steve Earle! A sublime human being :).
We saw him at the Troubadour with our late daughter, and he played "Goodbye" in honor of his late son. A treasured memory that
oh!
I love your list also. Very inspirational. Love that you talk to the youngest person in the room. So much to learn from them. We think of you often.😻
Thanks, Pam, and here's to a sighting soon!
